Primary/K-6: Position and Direction

childrenposition.jpg

As children navigate around their environment, they must learn about near and far, up and down, round and straight, and much more. Our activities extend and make explicit your child's ideas about spatial relations, which is a more complex and challenging topic than usually assumed.

"Teaching of spatial skills improves mathematics in general, including number understanding"
