Welcome to our online shop! Here you can purchase as PDFs some of the content available in i2i Maths for a one-off fee instead of a recurring subscription.

We have grouped together our activities across the levels into packs under one concept, giving a full continuum from 5 years to 11 years in most packs.  Some of the larger topics have been split into packs for 5 to 7 year olds and those for 7 to 11 year olds.

Each PDF is packed full of activities for you to do with your child, with lists of appropriate vocabulary and lots of hints and tips to help you in your task of maths facilitator for your child.

The price of the packs vary according to the amount of activities they contain.

Place Value (Ages 5 to 11) Total pages 47

Place Value is the foundation of our number system. It is a fundamental building block in a child's maths journey. Sound understanding of this concept will support future maths learning. This pack begins with tens and units, through writing large numbers to numbers with two places of decimals. As with all our packs there is a vocabulary list; hints and tips for all levels and a glossary of terms.

Calculation 1 (Ages 5 to 7) Total Pages 40

The concepts behind the many kinds of calculating your child needs to learn are introduced in this pack. All 4 operations are covered practically at first. In this pack you will learn how to support your child as he/she begins to record calculations, as well as carrying them out. As with all our packs there is a vocabulary list; hints and tips at all levels and a glossary of terms.

Calculation 2 (Ages 7 to 11) Total Pages 64

Following on from Calculating ages 5 to 7, the concepts behind the many kinds of calculating your child needs to learn are expanded and developed in this pack. In this pack your child will have experience of all 4 operations, will record using bars; informal methods and finally learn how to complete the formal algorithms. As with all our packs there is a vocabulary list; hints and tips at all levels and a glossary of terms

Counting (Ages 5 to 9) Total Pages 13

Being able to count effectively forwards and backwards in different size steps, is absolutely fundamental to many areas of maths. Counting seems like a simple idea but it is a really important mathematical skill. Your child will be using counting skills throughout his/her whole maths journey. Repetition and practice are the best ways to help build your child's understanding of counting. Remember always to encourage your child to count backwards as well as forwards. Your child will have had more practice counting forward and may struggle to be as fluent backwards. This is only due to lack of practice, as neurologically, counting backward is no more difficult for your child than counting forward. Always count with numbers your child is confident with, expanding his/her range slowly.

Number (Ages 5 to 10) Total Pages 27

Your child will already have some number skills before you start him/her on any formal learning. At the beginning work will be related to the vocabulary of number and it is essential for your child to understand what this vocabulary means. To us as adults the meanings are obvious but your child may struggle a little, not with the word but with its mathematical meaning.
This pack contains activities that are all about number that don't fit in to our other packs. Some topics continue up through the levels but others are specific to one level only.

Fractions, Decimals and Percentages (Ages 6 to 11) Total Pages 27

When working with children, we always link these three topics. We find that children find it easier to understand the concepts when the links are made explicit to them. It is very important that your child understands each new concept across the topics as each new level builds on the one before. This pack goes from simple fractions of shapes, through fractions of numbers and decimal fractions to finding percentages of any number over the course of 6 years of learning.

Addition and Subtraction (Ages 5 to 11) Total pages 55

This pack takes all the addition and subtraction activities from the Calculating packs 1 and 2 and puts them together for a continuum from 5 to 11 years. The process of calculation is learnt by children once their understanding of numbers and counting begins to develop. While to us, as adults, calculating probably means 'doing sums', in fact it has a much wider meaning in mathematics and begins with one more/one less, through adding, subtraction etc and ending, in our Rainbow Ladder Maths, with divisibility and word problems (These can be found in the multiplication and division pack). We have included work on two separate aspects of calculating, work on the concepts involved in calculating and separate work on recording those calculations. Both these strands are included in this continuum

Data Handling (Ages 5 to 11) Total pages 40)

This is an area of maths that can be very practical and allowing your child to have input into the data you collect can make it very relevant to him/her.
In our activities your child will cover the 3 main strands of handling data collecting, recording and Interpreting.
In this topic your child will get opportunities to decide on the criteria for collection then collect the information (data) and then count how many he/she finds.
Recording throughout is in a manner appropriate to the ability of your child but could involve lines of buttons, a tally chart or a graph of some kind.
